Questions about booking, services, or what to expect? We have answered the most common ones below.
Absolutely. We offer consultations over the phone or face to face in salon. Consultations are complimentary but must be booked in advance. A face to face consultation is much more effective and is what we prefer.
We recommend a consultation if you have never had your colour done with us before, especially if you are considering a big colour change or a colour correction. We also encourage existing customers to book one when thinking about a significant change.
A consultation gives us the opportunity to assess your hair, discuss your requirements, and make sure we can deliver the service you are after, with the correct services and the right amount of time in your appointment. Bring inspiration images if you have them; they give us a great starting point and help us understand your goals.

We have partnered with L'Oreal Professionnel for over 25 years and use their Majirel, iNOA, Dia Color, Dia Light and Blond Studio product ranges to deliver our services.
We offer a full range of colouring and lightening services including global colour, foil highlights, balayage and toning. We work closely with L'Oreal education so that our team are up to date with the latest products and techniques. Cathy, our creative director, has completed L'Oreal's Color Degree, their highest professional qualification.
A balayage service is customised for the individual, so it is not possible to give a single answer. The time depends on the length and thickness of your hair, the toning service required, and whether you are adding a treatment, cut, or styling. If your hair is already coloured or in poor condition, that can also significantly affect what is achievable and how long it takes. As a guide, for a balayage with a toner and styling you should expect to be in the salon for 3 to 5 hours.
It depends on the complexity of the appointment and how flexible you are in terms of day, time, or stylist. We generally have appointment slots available within a week, but for a full head of foils with a specific stylist on a popular evening you might need to book six weeks in advance. Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and Saturdays tend to be our busiest times. Our online booking system also has a waitlist and we encourage customers to use it, as cancellations do open up slots regularly.
If you are considering colour for the first time, or it has been a long time since your last colour, the best starting point is a free consultation with one of our stylists. We offer consultations over the phone or in person at the salon. An in-person visit is ideal so we can properly assess your hair, understand your goals, and walk you through your options.
A few things to think about before your consultation:
- Maintenance: how frequently do you want to visit the salon, and how much time are you happy to spend? Some colours need refreshing every 6 weeks, others only once or twice a year.
- Budget: higher-maintenance colours need more regular appointments, so it is worth considering the ongoing cost.
- Allergies: let us know of any sensitivities that may affect which products we can use.
- Home care: what will be required to maintain the colour and condition of your hair between visits?
The salon is located at 201 Concord Road, North Strathfield in Sydney's Inner West, about 12km west of the CBD. Drivers can reach us via Parramatta Road (or the M4) east-to-west, or Concord Road north-to-south. Parking is available behind the salon in Clermont Lane (2 hours) and on surrounding streets including Clermont Avenue, Davidson Avenue and Waratah Street (unrestricted). Note that Concord Road itself has very limited parking and a clearway operates from 3pm to 7pm. By public transport, North Strathfield train station is a 5 minute walk away, and buses 458, 459 and 251 stop directly outside the salon on Concord Road.
