Our Service Menu
Our service menu is arranged around BASE SERVICES and ADD ONS. You select the base service you want - say a Global Colour, or Classic Foils, or just a Cut. You can then customise your service by choosing from the add ons that are available for your base service. For example you might want to add a cut and a styling service to your global colour. Or you might want to add a toner to your classic foils. Add on services are optional as all of our base services are complete end to end services in themselves.
Pricing below is for standard services, if your hair is particularly thick or long, we may add a surcharge that reflects the additional time and/or product required to complete the service. We are transparent in our pricing and always provide an exact price for the agreed service(s) during the consultation that preceedes every appointment.
An all over colour from roots to ends. Choose from permanent or semi permanent colour.
Global colour services include colour application, processing, a post colour shampoo and an express dry.
Permanent colour can darken or lighten your base colour and is usually the best choice for covering grey hairs. Maintaining a permanent colour requires a high level of commitment. The colour will fade slowly but regrowth will be obvious - more so when your permanent colour is different to your natural base and/or if you are covering grey hairs. You will likely want to get your regrowth recoloured every 4 to 6 weeks.
Semi permanent colour can darken your base colour, change tone and add shine. Because a semi permanent colour fades out over a month or two, it is a great choice if you are trying colour for the first time or want to experiment with something a bit different. If you are comfortable with how the colour fades out the maintenance commitment is lower but if you want to keep the colour fresh, you will generally need to get the colour done every 6 to 8 weeks.
The root regrowth service is only available if we applied your previous colour and your regrowth is less than 2cm.
Metal Detox is L'Oreal's innovative new product that eliminates metal inside the hair fibre. This results in a reduced risk of breakage and provides more reliable colour results.
The 3-step protocol includes:
- Pre Service Treatment with Metal Neutralising Spray
- Post Service Cleansing with Anti-Metal Shampoo
- Post Service Conditioning with Anti-Deposit Protecting Conditioner and/or Masque
We start by strategically inserting medium weave foils. These will normally focus on framing the face and highlighting the crown parting. We then apply your chosen global colour in and around your highlights. You choose how many foils you want in your hair. The more foils you choose the more obvious the effect.
If you have added individual foils to your global colour, you might want to consider a classic toner. Most hair naturally lightens to warmer (yellow / golden / orange) tones. Unless you are happy with the tone your hair naturally lightens to, you will need a toner to achieve your preferred highlight colour. A toner will also add gloss and shine. Even if you like your natural highlight colour, you can add a clear toner to provide a more glossy result. Finally, a toner helps the hair cuticle recover from the stress of chemical lightening resulting in smoother, silkier hair.
A classic toner is an application of a single colour to correct from your natural highlight colour to your desired highlight colour. The price for a classic toner is largely driven by the amount of product required - so the number of foils that requires toning and the length and weight of the hair.
If you have had your roots retouched, you might want to consider a french gloss. A french gloss is an application of a single colour to the mid lengths and ends. This will add shine and provide a subtle tonal contrast to your global colour.
Our Style Cut is a maintenance service, your stylist will ensure your existing style is sharp and on point.
If it has been longer than 8 - 10 weeks since your last cut, or you are looking to change your existing style, you will likely need more than simple maintenance and should select our Restyle Cut.
For some more technical styles it is important to include a styling service as a part of your appointment as your stylist is unable properly assess the finished look while the hair is still damp. If you are unsure what is required, please contact us at the salon.

All lightening services includes application of foils or hand painting, processing, a post lightening shampoo and an express dry.
For classic foils we apply medium weave foils at medium density throughout the hair to brighten and create a multi tonal effect. Choose from parting only ($85), 1/2 head ($120), 3/4 head ($160) or full head ($200).
For super blond foils we apply fine to medium weave foils at higher density throughout the hair to significantly lift and brighten the hair. Choose from parting only ($105), 1/2 head ($150), 3/4 head ($190) or full head ($230).
Balayage is a freehand technique that gets its name from the french word to sweep. In recent years, the service has become very popular due to the natural, sun-kissed results that can be achieved. When skillfully executed, a balayage gives a beautifully subtle result with softer, less noticable regrowth lines than a head of foils. This technique is more suited to mid to long length hair and can incorporate higher contrast colours as well as more natural effects.
We find that the majority of our clients require a toner after their foils in order to achieve the desired tonal outcome.
